Family Ties to CT,NY,MA,ME,NJ,OH,FLA,PA,TX,TENN,My family research starts out "WITH MY GREAT GRANDPARENTS" on both sides, First Maternal Line, JOSEPH NIEDZWIECKI[Niedzwiedzcy] b1880-1882 IN SOBOLEWO and HELEN ZUKOWSKIA B1882 IN KOLNO, POLAND. They emmigrated to the U.S. Separetly 1896-1899 threw Ellis Island. Helen & Eva Landed in Norwich, New London Co, CT than NEW BRITAIN,CT by year 1903. Jozef First to Webster, Mass than N.B.CT. They married 1902-1903 AT Sacred Heart Church on BROAD ST NEW BRITAIN,CT. 1910 1920 1930 CT FEDERAL CENSUS Owned and operated NIEDZWIECKI Bakery aka VIENNA BAKERY on 182 BROAD ST during these YRS. I am searching for Cousin connections! Joseph had at least 3 Brothers here with him Walter Niedzwiecki and John Bear and Frank and a cousin Stanley that worked in the Bakery. His date of Birth doesn't add up Quote; "Uncle Frankie; Grandpa Joe Lied at Ellisland he was only abt 16yrs old when he arrived to US. His real birth date is Unknown. They had their son JOE JR.2-5-1903-04 IN New Britain,CT (d) Dec 1980. His Daughter Eleanor Hayes Just recently Passed 2007. His son (b)1902-1903 RAYMOND "Nedwell" Born In Norwich New London Co,CT. He died in Poughkeepsie, NY Jenny (Frances) (b) 1905 married Leo JOHNSON and Resided in N.B until their Deaths. Son, BRUNO aka BRONISLAW; He Has unknown Descendants and Served in Military, Believed to have at least 2 Daughters..Daughter PAULINE/APOLONIA Koziol 1916-2006.Son WALTER(LOTSA) (b) 1917. Son LEON J.(b)1918. My GrandFather EDWARD Casimier aka(SKIPPY)BORN 2-7-1921 DEATH 5-3-2005 in N.B.CT.Son FRANK (b)1923 and (d)8/2008 Daughter (b)1908-BERTHA/BRONISLAWA NIEDZWIECKI Married Leo SOKOLSKI died NB CT. lived in Parents Building on Overlook Ave. ALEXANDER(AL)1910 UNCLE AL had a cottage Down in old Saybrook AKA SOUNDVIEW,CT. He Died in Newington,CT 1996.Twin Sons Simon & Lucian died young 1911-1912. Many Burials are at The Sacred Heart Cemetery, NB CT. I am in SEARCH of records or Pixs that pertain to my family lines. Town halls hold land records and marriage licenses and Cemeteries Log family info. I have found NIEDZ~WIEDZ Poland where our surname Originates. LOMZA & WACH & SOBOLEWO & KOLNO, Konia are believed to be Birthplaces locations IN MAZOWIECKI PROVINCE; THe Russian Partition of Poland! I also Found That Sobelewo was a small village Outside of the larger Suwalki Province.. DYKE AKA NELLIE BATES born 8-30-1875 SOUTHINGTON,CT married 7-31-1893 in SOUTHINGTON,CT and possibly buried at Oakhill Cemetery in Southington with her Parents as They lived and had 11 children in Plainville,CT. First was a son REUBEN DYKE BATES 1893 THAN GG EMMA Bates IN 1895. Looking for GGGGMilo Dyke's Parents Norfolk,Litchfield CT Early Pre-1800's INFO. Looking for Sources on Soldier William Torrey Waterman & 2 Sons William & Henry1810 tieing them to Uncle John Waterman & Nancy Essex after their father and Mother Died; During War of 1812-1814. Joseph's Name and Yr of 1915 is still Visible at Street Level It reads J.Niedzwiecki 1915 Third Floor Level Front of Building The First Floor Right side was Joe & Mary's Convienence store in abt 1980's. I had visited that store many in my childhood never knew My Great Grandparents Lived & Worked & Raised a big Family there From 1902-1930's before they Bought the knew home on 48 Overlook Ave. Hopefully Family will send a Pix of that location if the Building is there that would be Great!!!! HINT I need a Camera to Borrow lol
