Benjamin Franklin Harris d. 1906 "Gone But Not Forgotten" After the Civil War ended, he was appointed Mayor of Waco by the conquering Yankees. This only lasted one term as he was voted out of office. He married Ida or Margaret Robinson both of whom were born in Georgia. They had two children. Their daughter, Rennier, was born in 1857 and became the wife of the Colonel, G.E. Waters. He is mentioned in a 1899 book, "Lone Star State", as having been major of Waco, Galvaston and Morgan. He owned 1200 acres of land in Morgan, Tx. B.F., as he was known, has inscribed on his tombstone: "Gone But Not Forgotten". His grave is in Morgan, Tx. Died in 1906.
