Although settled here in the 1820s, they came from many countries and many nations, to grow their crops and to create a home for their families. They participated in the many wars of this country and warmly greeted the lovely natives of the lands who helped them to survive.

• PETER BOZEMAN OF BLADEN, NC & DARLINGTON SC (500 KB)
  migrated in 1826 and died in 1829 in Hope Hull/ Pintlala area of Montgomery County, Alabama, may be buried near Shiloh Church - his wife died in 1838 - many records are found on his estate sale, and his children in the SC and the AL archives.
