About Our Family Research


our family line in NY started with Jacob Smith Moody who first settled the Saranac Lake region. His sons were well known guides of Adirondacks. There are many published stories of their exploits. My family tree is a work in progress, I find more info every day and add it as I find it, I try to verify as I go, but that is not always possiable if you see something you believe to be incorrect please let me know!!!!
