Obit for Bertha Caroline Stidham: Bertha Caroline Goins Stidham, 89, died Monday at a local nursing home. She was born in Bradly on May 12, 1913, to George Melton and Ellen Francis (Godbehere) Welliver. She worked at Cattleman's Restaurant in Oklahoma City. She later became a licensed practical nurse and worked at Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman and then at Shanna Springs Nursing Home in Chickasha before retiring in 1988. She married James A. Goins in April 1929. They had five sons. He preceded her in death in 1970. In May 1972 she married Homer Stidham. He preceded her in death in November 2003. She lived most of her life in the Dibble area. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Harold, J.B. and George Virgil Goins; brother, Henry Welliver; and three sisters, Pearl Davi, Louise McConnel and Ellen Stapleton. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Montez Goins, Aquilla, Texas, and Larry and Kathy Goins, Shawnee; brother, Frank Welliver, Medford; sister Mildred Carrigan, Ada, and Susie Klohn, Chickasha; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 2p.m. Thursday at Dibble Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Matthews and the Rev. Phil Thompson officiating.(7 April 2003).

Obit for Herman Carl Klohn: The Chickasha Daily Express, Thursday, September 3, 1987."Funeral for Herman Carl Klohn, 82 of Chickasha, will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5, 1987, in the Chapel of the Sevier Funeral Home with the Reverend Jim Hensley, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Pocasset, officiating. Klohn died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1987 in chickasha. He was born on July 10, 1905 in El Reno and spent his early life in Canadian County. He came to Chickasha 14 years ago. Klohn married the former Susie Welliver on March 4, 1943 in El Reno. He was a retired automobile mechanic. Klohn was preceded in death by one son, Jamie Klohn, who died on Feb 1, 1955; his parents, Charles and Kate Klohn; and three sisters, Leona Klohn, Lilly Gray and Hazel Williams. Survivors include his wife, Susie Klohn, of the home; seven daughters, Patty Hudson and Betty Sue Klohn, both of Shawnee; Wanda Lagaly, of Pocasset; Karan Parks of Cement; Joyce King of Virginia; Mary Beets of Minco; Linda L. Haile, of Chickasha; two sons Dale Klohn, of Maysville; Gerald (Jerry) Klohn, of Amber; 23 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Burial will be in the Union City Cemetery under the direction of the Sevier Funeral Home."
