This woman was born in Saginaw and was married to Chabwaway's son Be-ba-mis-se who, after his father died, became chief and assumed the name Chabwaway. She was about 85 in 1910 when this photo of her was taken. She was a local figure of interest in the Hessel area in the early part of the 20th century.
