In 1985 I began my journey of tracing my family. Now I have completed my father's line, the Vanden Bosch Family. I have been working on a book for over two years and have finally compiled it and sent it to a printer. I traced every Vanden Bosch I could find given the records available, census, military records, on line, books, life stories, the Holland Evening Sentinel and other publications that mention our family. Both Covers of the book have beautiful pictures of our family members in full color. The book page total is 483 bound in softcover. The genealogy report is 263 pages the rest of the book is pictures, life stories and bios on the various family members. In my quest I made a shocking discovery, my branch of the family, Hendrick Pieterzoon Vanden Bosch and his wife Sena Tenhaggen seem to be the "Forgotten Branch." They are rarely referred to in any of the genalogies done on the family. I believe because my great grandfather and his sons may have been Free Masons, given their occupations, and ostrazied by the church and their family? This is just a guess. My branch is not forgotten any more, we are now referred to as the "Muskegon Branch" If you are interested in this book just contact me at my email address. Jeanette Vanden Bosch
