LUCY MORDICK: CEDARVILLE - Lucy Mordick, 90, formerly of Cedarville, died Monday evening, May 19, at Medina Nursing Center, Durand.

For three years she was a resident at the center.

On Sept.. 25, 1895, she was born in Rush Township, Jo Daviess County, to Kerlin and Clara (Bechtold) Clay. She married John J. Mordick in Rockford in 1919.

Surviving are one son, Leo E. of Cedarville; one Daughter, Doris Lomuscio of Hollywood, Fla.; one brother, Stiver Clay of Belvidere, eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, one grandson, two brothers and one sister.

Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Leamon Funeral Home, Lena. The Rev. James Engel, pastor of Lena United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lena Burial Park.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

A memorial fund has been established.
