A stone plaque with his date of death at the age of 75 years, 4 months and 13 days is erected in the Oakfield Cemetery, which is nine miles north of Wiota, Iowa. It is placed next to his daughter Margaret Terrill Poage's and son-in-law Nathaniel Hamlin's grave. It was found on my visit there on June 8, l999.
