She had 6 sons and 2 daughters with Malcolm. She was canonized by Innocent IV in 1249. Some early calendars have her feast on Nov 16 and others on June 19, but it is now fixed at June 10.
Saint Margaret, the queen consort of Malcolm III of Scotland, is credited with the introduction of English (Roman) usages into the Scottish church. The daughter of Edward "The Exile", an English prince, she fled to Scotland after the Norman Conquest and married (c.1070) Malcolm. Noted for her piety and charity, she was canonized in 1250. Feast day: Nov 16 (formerly Jun 10).

She was probably born in Hungry, and she married Macolm in 1069. A devout Christian Margret was patron to a number of monasteries. She used her influence to persuade the Scottish clergy, who clung to a number of pagan practices, to perform the Mass according to the guidelines of Rome. For her piety and her work in promoting Church practices, she was canonized in 1249. Her festival in roman Catholicism is June 10 and in the Anglican Communion , July 20.
Saint Margaret was one of the Saints that appeared to Joan of Arc in her campaign.

Joan of Arc (Jeanne d'Arc) becomes the heroine of France and changes the course of history. A shepherd girl of 17 from Lorraine, La Pucelle d'Orléans has heard voices and has seen visions of the Archangel Michael, Saint Catherine, and Saint Margaret, who pledged her to seek out the dauphin and deliver Orléans from the English. She persuades a royal captain to equip her with armor and have her conducted to Chinon, she finds the dauphin there, he provides her with a small army, and she liberates Orléans in early May.
