He then homesteaded in Arbon Valley, and this is where she grew up. She married George Dewey Donat on May 5, 1920 in Pocatello, and she has resided there since. She has two children: Nina Arline (Peggy), married to Robert E. Birrell, and George R. (Bob), married to Alice M. Donat. She also has 6 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and numerous great-grand children and great-great grandchildren. Nina always enjoyed being with family and friends. She is proud to be a member of Ruth Chapter #3, Order of Eastern Star, and acted as Worthy Matron in 1936. She has been active in the First Congregational Church for many years and had been a member of several card clubs until her eyes failed. She dearly loved to have family and friends at her home where she cooked dinner. Her apple pie was wonderful
