72. William SPARKS ^{(241)(242) (243)} was born about 1760 in Prince George Co, MD. He died about 1834. William went to Adair Co, Ky area about 1799 which was then called Green Co. near Leatherwood Creek. His father's name was also William from Jasper Co History book
He left no Will per Sparks Quarterly pg 1795 He paid taxes in Green Co Ky from 1807 - 1833
Possibly a sister Elizabeth married Henry Bryan, Henry's "uncle" was Daniel Boone (see Sparks Quarterly Dec 1998 pgs 5066-5072 and Dec 1992 pgs 4025-4034 and March 71, pgs 1425-34) He was married to Mary about 1781 in NC.

73. Mary died about 1834. Mary left no will per Sparks quarterly pg 1795 Children were:

ii. Sarah (Jessee) SPARKS was born between 1785 and 1790. Married Lazarus JESSEE 12 Par 1806 in Adiar Co, KY. 10 children: 6 sons and 4 daughters.
iii. Mary Polly Ann (England) SPARKS was born about 1786 in NC. She died about 1858. Mary married Nathanel ENGLAND before moving to Kentucky CHILDREN: (1) William C. - (2)John Thomas (3) James (4)Timothy (5) Allexander (6) Mary Ann (7) Nancy (8) Daniel (9)Elizabeth (Betsy) (10) Ellsworth (Elzy) (11)Martha (Patsey) (12) George W. -
iv. Elizabeth (Bristoe) SPARKS was born between 1785 and 1790. She died in 1858. Elizabeth married Thomas BRISTOE on 6 Oct 1806 in Adair Co. KY. she died at age 71
v. Selah (Whitmore) SPARKS was born in 1789/90. Selah married Nathan WHITLEMORE on 1 Dec 1801 in Adair Co. KY not verified
vi. John SPARKS was born between 1790 and 1792 in NC. John married Nancy BARNES on 21 Aug 1816. John was a farmer CHILDREN: (1)Burley Ann (2) William Walton (3) Lucinda (4) Josiah (5) Mary (Polly) Ann (6) son (7) Eliza Ann (8)Harriet Margaret (9) Emmaline (10) Amanda
vii. Elihu SPARKS⁽²⁴⁴⁾ was born about 1794 in NC. He appeared on the census in 1830 in Morgan Co, IL. Ehihu married Rosa BAILEY 14 Dec 1814 This is not a confirmed son 6 children: 4 sons - 2 daughters

viii. Cynthia (Janes) SPARKS was born about 1799 in KY. She died between 1835 and 1838. Cynthia married Spencer JANES 16 Mar 1824 CHILDREN: (1)Mary Ann (2)William Dudley (3)Thomas Seymour (4) Gracey (5) Silas.
ix. Cathanne (McGlason) SPARKS was born about 1801 in KY. She died between 1835 and 1838. Cathanne married Scotland MCGLASSON Feb 1824
x. Jehu SPARKS was born about 1803. Jehu probably never married
