He also served several terms as councilman. He appeared on the census in 1925 in Clinton, Clinton Co, Ia.⁽²⁷⁾ 1925 age 65, b. MO, owned home val at $4800, 8th grade ed., no church He died on 14 Nov 1927 in Clinton, Clinton Co, Ia.^{(28) (29)} He was buried in Elwood Cem, Brookfield Twn, Clinton Co, Ia.^{(30) (31)} He died from asthma. died at home 609 4th Ave. S. Clinton He was christened in Congregational. 1868 moved to Missouri with his family 1874 Moved to Crawford Co. Ia with family 1880 bought a farm in Shelby Co. Iowa lived with father and was married 1901 Moved to Clinton CO. and became contractor. 1907 started his own building business.

5. Cornelia Belle LANGHAM ^{(33) (34)} was born on 18 May 1858 in Elwood, Brookfield Twn, Clinton Co, Ia. She appeared on the census in 1860 in Brookfield Twn, Clinton Co, IA.⁽³⁵⁾ living with parents George & Mary and John F, age 9, Mary A age 6 Cornelia was born in Iowa She appeared on the census in 1880. ⁽³⁶⁾ living with Truelove Corson and his parents and siblings She died in 1939. no record of death in Clinton Co, IA She was buried in Elwood Cem, Brookfield Twn, Clinton Co, Ia.^{(37) (38)} Cornelia Bell was married to Clinton Ferrell 11 Nov 1875 in Shelby Co marriage ecords Clinton was killed by lightening 8 Aug 1876 in Shelby Co. The Ferrell's lived near the Corsons in Shelby Co, and a brother of Truelove also married a Ferrell, that is probably how Cronelia and Truelove met. Children were:

i. Herbert Henry CORSON was born on 3 Mar 1887 in Botna, Jefferson Twn, Shelby Co, Ia. He died on 13 Jan 1943 in Clinton, Clinton Co, Ia. ⁽³⁹⁾ He was buried in Meml Park cem, Clinton, Clinton Co, Ia. He died from pneumonia & influenza.
