The Worleys of Western Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia

Updated January 19, 2001

About Our Family Research

My Worley ancestors were residents of western Pennsylvania, specifically the city of Pittsburgh, eastern Ohio and the panhandle counties (Hancock, Brooke, Ohio and Marshall) of West Virginia. Research is centered around my lost grandfather Edward Worley. He was reportedly born in Ohio about 1880 to 1884. He married my grandmother Blanche Mellon about 1903 and resided in Pittsburgh from that time till somewhere after 1910 when he vanished. Rumor has it that he died in West Virginia.

So, with these threads of information I invite all Worley clan members in these locations to tell me about their Worleys in the hope that I can connect them to the family. Any and all help, comments or whatever are most welcome and I will be happy to assist others searching for Worleys.

The other family surnames connected to my ancestor family are GUERING,GUERIN,SULLIVAN,O'CONNOR,BROWN,MOOAR,MELLON,STEHLE, .
