W.M. WALDEN, OLD RESIDENT OF GARNER COMMUNITY DIES
W.M. Walden, 64 years of age, an old time resident of the Garner community in this county, died at 7am, Friday morning at the home of his son W.L. Walden in Mineral Wells. Mr. Walden was a well known and highly respected citizen of his community. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W.A. Harryman of Mineral Wells at Lemly Cemetery, eight miles northwest of Weatherford, at 10 o'clock, Saturday morning. Pallbearers were Price Dennis, DIck Goswick, C.W. Proter, R.L. White, Willie Key and A.L. Measures. Mr. Walden is survived by 4 sons, W.L. Walden, D.L. Walden, Ed Walden and O.L. Walden, all of Mineral Wells and one sister, Mrs. Amanda Boyd of this county.

Death of Mrs. Walden
After an illness of several months, lasting since last spring when she was diagnosed with Pellagra, Mrs. W.M. Walden died at her home near Authon last Monday night. Mrs. Walden was about 50 years old and leaves four children to survive her, these being by name, Oliver, Lewis, Edward and Lester. She was born and reared in Parker County about 3 miles from Authon. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist church and was buried from that church at Lemley, Tuesday afternoon, the services geing conducted by Rev. Mr. Hill.
