Obit Notice:
Mrs. Nancy Walden, 77, of Garner, passed away in a local hospital Monday at 5:30pm. She had been in declining health for several years. She was born in TN but came to Texas as a child.
Survivors are her husband O.L. Walden; 2 sons, Everett Walden of Garner, Fayburn Walden of Roswell, New Mexico; one daughter Mrs. A.V. McDonald of Garner; four brothers, J.W. Pond and A.B. Pond of Weatherford; H.O. Pond and J.H. Pond of Garner and eight grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Wednesday at the Garner Baptist Church with Rev. Vernon Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Authon Cemetery with White's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Graham - Jammes F. Wladen of Roswell, N.M., died Thursday in a Lubbock hospital. He was 73.
Funeral will be at 2pm today at Morrison Funeral Home in Graham. Burial will be in the Pioneer Cemetery in Graham.
Mr. Walden was born in Garner, Parker County, Texas and moved to Roswell, New Mexico in 1946 from Graham. He was retired from the wholesale business. He was a Baptist, and was an Army Air Force Veteran of World War II.
Survivors: His wife, Lillie Mae Walden of Roswell; one daughter, Jackie Smith of Lubbock; one brother Everett Walden of Garner; one sister, Hazel McDonald of Garner and 3 grandchildren.
