Otto Peeters Hoff (son of John Hoff and Margaret Eiler) was born March 13, 1885, and died date unknown.
Notes for Otto Peeters Hoff: Otto Peeters Hoff was adopted by John Hoff and Margaret after losing his mothre when he was 5 years old. He was born in Forest Junction WI and the family moved to Wausaukee when he was 3 years old. His parents were Barney Peeters and Mrs. Peeters (?). He had 2 brothers, Frank and Charles and 2 sisters, Kathryn and Caroline.
On June 11, 1905 Otto was boating on the Fox River with a friend, Leslie Duquette when they were caught in the current and pulled through the sluice of the dam. Leslie managed to grab a branch and was saved. Otto drowned that day and the body was recovered 2 days later and laid to rest after being at his adopted father's (John Hoff) home.
He was buried on June 15, 1905 from the Holland Catholic Church in De Pere WI.
