African-American Shores

I am looking for info in Martha A. Shores born 1920 and died Dec. 1979.

this is what I know. Martha married Eugene S. Alexander in 1942 in Jackson County, Missouri @ Kansas City. They have one son(living ID with held) and one adopted daughter that may live in Texas. She died in Dec. 1979 was buried in Cook county IL.

I would like to find where she was born and her parents!
any help would be great.
