Inf.In some local listings of deaths during the war, the battle is listed as "Pearle Thin Creek" instead of Peach Tree Creek.I was puzzled about that for a long time until I realized his parents received a handwritten note about his death and the handwriting was probably poor.After teaching cursive handwriting for years, I know how distorted the letters can become!
