Thank you. I can certainly believe that!

His name was John M. Harris (according to the 1860 US Census. His wife was Alsinda (Mays) Harris. Her father was Bryant E. Mays. John was born in Mississippi or Missouri according to census records. They had two children, Edward B.Harris and Elizabeth Bell Harris.

John was born in 1835 and Alsinda was born in 1840. They lived in Plum Bayou, Jefferson County, Ar. on a farm that was very near this record that I found re Biddle's Company.Alsinda died very shortly after John did and the kids eventually moved to Ill.
