I just wanted to remind readers that the smgf testing you referred to is free.
smgf.org has FREE DNA testing.
I cannot help the advanced poster of the query, but I can help beginners (FREE also)overcome the major problem from smgf FREE DNA test. This is related to manual entry of 37 marker values on the searchpage.
I started a DNA genealogy self-study group so I can learn how to use DNA genealogy testing services without getting ripped off.
The study group is for, Portwood, Endicott, Gasaway, Logston, and suspected relatives.
This free test uses 37 markers (an $800.00 value?).

"The Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to building the world's foremost collection of DNA and corresponding genealogical information"
The lab will tell you that you will not receive any results back directly from SMGF. (Don't worry about this one. Your results of the smgf lab work will be available at another website. It is all free.)
