Re: I am still confused after three years of posting.
There is a Gazeway DNA project on ancestry that is a private group on myfamily.com so I can’t find any info for you. There is also a Gazeway DNA project at familytreedna and the administrator address is [email protected] These look like small projects with only 4 and 6 names in the results. I can’t help you with any donors you may have recruited or paid for, it is sometimes better to join an existing project verses creating a new one. SMGF is slightly different then other DNA projects and you really can’t dig too deeply into individual names. You need your email and password to get on SMGF. You can join ancestry and manually enter the DNA results you may already have. I would also suggest trying www.ysearch.org
and enter your DNA results there, it is free, then you can do a comparison search.
I think familytreedna has the better user group site where you can post questions and they all seem to get answered. SMFG and Ancestry have a Q&A section with general prewritten answers. You can look at all of these sites without having to join to learn more. You can also try http://www.isogg.orghttp://www.isogg.org for more info.
