- this is passengers leaving the UK for destinations outside Europe, including those heading to US/Canada. You may find her heading to the US there. There are also incoming lists on Ancestry and you should check those - one might mention a cousin in RI. (Try your local library to see if they have free access to any genealogical websites on their computers.)

If you knew which town Mary was from (or can find this from shipping records) it would help a lot as you could probably figure out which school her father was connected with, or see if there are still relatives in the area.
