There is no misinformation, only different views of what was being asked.
1. She didn't ask if it was a requirement. She asked if it was a logical "next step." I stand by my answer that, yes, it was a logical next step. Did everyone take that step? Obviously not.
2. She made the assumption that the child was a minor. In the absence of any other information, the answer is, indeed, yes. It might depend on other information, but other information was not given. She asked about a minor child.
3. We agree the answer is no.
