Thankyou for your response Thor.
It Is interesting that this name comes up. May I ask how you came about this possibilty? I've wondered if there might be a BAZIL DERRY SR. MARY's first born was BAZIL DERRY, no JR. designation, at least none that I have seen.
Do you have anything that might substantiate a SR.? I have not heard of any DERRY's in the area of SW PA, or N. VA with a son by the name of BAZIL other than the one above, born 1786. There was a BALTSER DIERY, later DERRY, who arrivedin VA from Germany, in 1752 with his wife (name unknown) and 3 sons, PHILLIP, PETER and JACOB b. 1739, the oldest. Maybe it's a stretch, but I've thought it possible that JACOB may be her husband or JACOB's son could be BAZIL SR. MARY's husband has been very allusive.
I would be grateful for any additional info you may have.
Again, Thankyou,
D. Doc Derry
