Risdon / Risden -Okehampton/ {Parkham, Devon, Eng. c. 1275; Gloucester c. 1190

By Steve Dennehy October 01, 2012 at 03:49:11

The Risdons, a family of landed gentry with a coat-of-arms, is said to be desc. from Ralph Risdon of Risdon Manor, in Great Rissington, Gloucester in the reign of King Richard ! (King 1189-1190).

His descendant Robert Risdon in Okehampton / Parkham, Devon by 1275.

We can only trace the family back to Thomas Risdon of Parkham born about 1370.

We would like to fill in the gaps between Thomas and Robert and between Robert and Ralph.

Can anyone help ?
