Dear Richard Hite:
I agree with you that Orvus Howk was a "scammer," in many respects. However, that doesn't cancel out the fact that his books and letters contain many "clues" to the truth, which can't be found in any other writings, to the best of my knowledge. A lot of what Howk wrote has never been thoroughly checked out by anyone, to date. We don't really know, at this time, how much of it is true ( or at least "near true" ), and how much of it is outright false or mere fabrication. What he wrote about in his books covers such a vast area, it would take a well-equipped, impartial research team a considerable number of years to actually prove or disprove many of his statements/claims. Most importantly, unless you first believe there is a "secret history" underlying many of the events of "traditional history," most of what Howk wrote would appear to border on the "ridiculous" and/or the "bizarre." I agree that from the point of view of "traditional history," a good deal of what Howk says is simply ridiculous. However, Howk is writing mostly about events which occurred on the level of the "secret history," which involves such things as covert warfare between clandestine groups such as the KGC and the Illuminati. It was the covert warfare of these secret groups which was actually the "root cause" of the Civil War. These covert groups had been warring against each other at least since the time of the Revolutionary War, the main question being who was going to control the land, financial structure, general economy, and political apparatus of the United States ( from behind the scenes, of course ). After the War of 1812, these groups eventually "created" a state of general "domestic" warfare ( the Civil War, 1861-1865 ) as the primary means of resolving their "covert war." These covert groups and secret societies have been using this technique ( various forms of general "public" warfare ) for many centuries as the premier technique of resolving their differences and gaining more power and control. The issues of slavery, states rights, etc., although perfectly legitimate in their own right, were nevertheless tools used by these covert groups ( as part of their "hidden agenda" ) to inflame the general public into a state of actual domestic war. The ultimate forces behind the war were not these legitimate issues, but rather the "puppetmasters" behind the scenes, high-ranking members of the various secret societies and covert groups, who were actually "pulling the strings" of events. What is not known by most people is that this same covert warfare is still going on today, underneath the "veneer" of "traditional" history, although it has "escalated" far beyond what it was at the time of the Civil War. Some prime examples of covert manipulation and deception from recent history would be the attack on Pearl Harbor, which the U. S. government knew about ahead of time but allowed ( in order to get the U. S. into W. W. II ), and the John F. Kennedy assassination.
If Howk had written straightforwardly and "honestly" about the events of "secret history" involving the James family, we wouldn't have the problems with his writings that we have. The real problem with Howk's writings is, on "close inspection" ( that is, with all factors taken into consideration ) it appears he was acting as the "mouthpiece" of certain covert groups who had their own special agenda, who wanted the "secret history" regarding "Jesse James" presented in a special, distorted form. Exactly why the secret societies involved wanted to hide the truth about Jesse James, was because the truth about the "Kentucky Jesse" ties in with the "secret history" about who actually controls the financial structure of the United States. Soon after the end of W. W. II, there was a threat that some of the "secret history" involving the "Kentucky Jesse" was going to be "leaked." Because of certain projects the modern KGC/Knights Templar ( working through a covert group known as the "Nebraska Navy" within the Office of Naval Intelligence - O. N.I. ) was working on at that time, and which were then at a "critical point," which involved the Federal Reserve System and the gold and silver bullion in the Confederate treasure caches, they didn't want a spotlight possibly thrown on the subject of what ever happened to the lost Confederate treasury, and similar issues ( this has been an ongoing KGC/Knights Templar project since the early 1930s, and is now nearing completion under the name NESARA - - look it up !!! ). In order to counteract the possibility of this, and related, information eventually coming to the attention of the public, and in order to have some form of "damage control" already in place should the threatened leak occur, "J. Frank Dalton" was manipulated by the secret societies into the position of posing in public as "Jesse James," primarily so there would be someone "conveniently" already on the scene ( the "real" Jesse James !!! ) who might be able to confuse/convince the public and who, hopefully, could thereby "plausibly" deny the validity of whatever secret information actually was leaked to the public. Events did occur which were preliminary to the revelation of secret information about the Kentucky Jesse, but the secret societies ( acting together, but each for their own reasons ) were able to halt these events before anything of any real significance had been made public. Orvus Howk's claims that J. Frank Dalton was the "Kentucky Jesse" ( not the "Missouri Jesse" ) were, subsequently, published ( his 1961 and 1975 books ), to make the whole subject even more laughable in the eyes of most researchers than it already was before Howk published his books. This was exactly the result the secret societies were trying to produce: their object was to make the whole subject a complete laughing stock in the eyes of "traditional" researchers, so as to make it unlikely that anyone would ever contemplate undertaking a serious investigation of the subject. Thus the "secret history" would remain essentially in tact, undisclosed to the general public and to almost all researchers. Therefore, in light of all this, it is not so much that Howk was merely an ordinary/typical "con man" or "scammer." Howk may have actually been a con man to a certain degree, but this was, nevertheless, basically still merely the "appearance," "stereotype," "image," or "cover" he used, to his advantage, in order to conceal the true nature of his activities. He knew that most people would judge him by his "cover" ( stereotype ) and quickly "write him off" as being nothing more than a "con man," and that, therefore, they would never get to the point of even "suspecting" what his real "game" was. Many intelligence operatives have similarly "posed" as "con men," not only because it is a good "cover" for their real work ( it "scares off," and more or less eliminates the scrutiny of, all the respectable citizens and "traditional" historians/researchers ), but also because it helps them gain access to covert networks which would otherwise be closed to them. I have reached the conclusion that Howk was eventually forced into the position of working as an "intelligence operative/disinformation agent" for one or more secret societies, and that he put his con man "image" to good use as a cover for his activities as a disinformation agent. As such, he was instructed to manipulate and distort "privileged information," and to present this disinformation to the general public in the form of his books, letters, misidentified photos distributed tovarious people, etc. The primary results of this disinformation campaign were his 1961 and 1975 books, which can thus be characterized as secret society disinformation documents presented in the guise ( actually "disguise" ) of truth-telling exposes. All this would not appear to be the case, on merely "casual inspection" of Howk's writings. However, on the basis of "close inspection" of his writings, it is my opinion that the "style" of Howk's writings was intentionally designed to "cloak" his ultimate/hidden agenda. This "cloaking," apparently, has effectively hidden the true nature of his books from all but the most perceptive and discerning researchers. Howk's writings appear, outwardly, to be little more than folklore and/or hearsay, or deliberate fabrication intended primarily for the gullible, but in reality they are carefully constructed, cleverly disguised disinformation documents. The irony is, once you realize what these books really are ( it is assumed/intended by the secret societies that the average "traditional" researcher "won't" ever realize what these books really are ), they take on a much greater importance than they normally would, since the information in them, by virtue of it being what it really is ( a "distortion" of the real truth - - that is, "dis"-information - - but not actually outright falsehood or mere fabrication ), affords the possibility of the reader getting close to the real truth, which has merely been cleverly concealed ( "distorted" ) but not "altogether" altered and/or obliterated. In other words, the "distortion" still contains enough semblance of truth, that it functions as a "clue" or guidepost to the real truth, in many cases. These "distortions" ( "clues" ) are far better than no hint at the "secret information" at all.
To those who are not knowledgeable about the "secret history" of the world, what I have said above will be of little value or consequence. But to those who recognize the existence and viability of the "secret history," what I have said above explains much. There is a big conspiracy going on to deceive the general public about who really controls the U. S., and about the true status of our economy and about the true nature of our current governmental structures, etc. The suppression of the truth about the "Kentucky Jesse" is just one little corner of this much bigger conspiracy, but it is a "corner" !!!
Dear Richard: I hope, from the above, that you can now understand why I pay attention to what "The Hawk" says. It is not a matter of taking what he says at face value, but of using what he says more or less as "research leads" - - as a way of possibly being pointed in the right direction, at least.
Blessings to All !!!
Sincerely, and Lots of Love - -
P. K. K.
