March 21, --(AP)—The tentative date for the trial of the Manter, Kan., bank bandits, charged with murder of deputy Sheriff C. A. Hickman at Eads, Colo., last Friday, has been fixed at April 28. J. Arthur Phelps of Pueblo, district attorney for the tenth judicial district which includes Eads, said here today he was anxious in bring the bandits, Claude Ray, John Walker and Andrew Haillday to speedy justice. Mr. Phelps took signed statements from the bandit trio today. The statements were said to be identical with those made by the prisoners last week to Sheriffs Mayne of Kiowa county and L. P. Alderman of Prowers county.
