1937 1938 1939 one of these dates holds the issue of True Magazine and a story by J Frank Dalton.
Sept or Oct. issue. Title of story: The Aftermath by J Frank Dalton

Dewitt Travis' mother went to school with J Frank Dalton and knew he was Jesse James.

In 1943 JJ / J Frank Dalton was in Lampasas Texas, Burnet and Marble Falls Texas. He lectured there in the fall.

Bloody Bill Texas ent to Brownwood Texas after the war and died there.

In 1947 JJ/J Frank Dalton started his paper work for his pension.

The reason Dalton gives his date of birth as March 8 relates to that is the day he got out of Quantrill's outfit. March 8th 1865

JJ/J Frank Dalton was known to chew Tennessee Twist Tobacco from Tenn.

The Chicken Blood Stains.
Saturday April 2, 1882 Jesse and Bigelow go for a ride. When they return Jesse Instructs Bigelow to go inside. He will put away the horses. When Bigelow enters the house Bob is waiting for him and shoots Charlie in the back of the head. Charlie falls causing a flesh wound over the left eye. The children in the house were sent to visit a neighbor while all this was taking place. The next morning around 9 p.m. Bob Ford shoots a hole in the wall. Mrs. James (Bigelow) comes for the kitchen to the front room, puts Charlie's head in her lap and poured chicken blood on her dress to make the appearence that he had just been shot that morning.

In 1949 Dalton appeared on "We The People" radio talk show.

March 10. 1950 Dalton was in court in Franklin County Courthouse Union Mo. Trial began to restore his name to JJ.

J Frank Dalton / JJ had a pocket watch that was Helbros Make, thin model about 2 inches in diamenter.
This watch had emblems inside. K.P. Lodge (Knights of Pythias Lodge) and the letters F.C.B. (Friendship, Courage, Benevolence)

JJ/ J Frank Dalton said J E James was his son and was in a TB Ward out in Los Angeles Calif. Jesse James Jr. was Bigelow's boy. Says his son Jesse Edwards James was a County Attorney or Wyandotte Co. Mo. for a while.

March 24, 1951 Orvus Lee Howk has J Frank Dalton in Gilchrist Texas.

In August 1951 Howl gets in touch with Mrs. Burk at Granbury Texas. Aksed her to go to Gilchrist to help him get J Frank Dalton to her fahters ranch. Dalton wanted to die on the Rash Farm.
