Dear Phil, about the little notebook; Glynda and I have compared the signatures and writing of Frank Dalton. With his signature on the post card sized photograph. Frank is standing updressed ina suit and vest and lg. cowboy hat near a building with a tree in back. This is when He was Frank Dalton, Last of the Quantrills Raiders Born March 8,1848. Author, Lecturer, Soldier, Outlaw and Peace Officer. In pencil at the top is written Jesse James. And after born, also written in pencil the date April 17,1845,104 years old At the bottom the year 1941 also in pencil. It appears to us, they were working ona new plan, because the old letter-head was also being revised and later on they came up with the one from Chicago. No doubt at all that the signature in the little notebook with the calander 1936-1937 matched Frank Dalton's on the Post Card. The notebook is from Smith Advertising Co.,Xenia,Ohio for San Antonio Brewing Association,Texas. On the back of the cover is the history of the Brewery. Glynda and Bob James.
