Hi Carol,

June and her mother helped him in Gilchrist & Granbury..Remember the Flora Diamond in Howk's letters Bob & Glynda already posted about Gilchrist and the Granbury Letter where Howk said they were there.....

Read on about the Thompson data I posted today..This is I think a clue on some of this, and it does involve the Thompson family, I believe, and their involvement and yes, June and her mother were part of this Thompson family involvement..It is confusing...

Start here and read the thread when you get time....:

Confirmed by Bob & Glynda in this posting..June's stepfather was John Thompson and his mother was Eliza Thompson who died 3/18/1955 Howk talks about that is whatI see:

Excerpt:

"One of grandpa Jesse's daughters down in Florida died recently. She was the mother of June's stepfather not far from where "Dingus" lives. So June's mother is due to come up soon."
