A very brief line of descent; Capt. John Wyatt and Jane (Jennie) Pamplin Wyatt had a dau. named Anne Wyatt who married Col. John Starke. >> Anne and John Starke had a son Thomas Starke who married Elizabeth Dozier, they had a dau, named Mary Starke who married Stephen Staples. They were the parents of the Sarah Staples that you have in your records. The above Jane (Jennie) Pamplin is in my line.

One more question; Was the name Tewell ever spelled Tidwell. I am interested in a John Wilson Tidwell who changed his name to John Wesley Wilson.
