Dear Phillip,

I have only looked at part of your posting but from that in which I did see. I can tell you that along with other genealogy researchers you folkes are looking for the earliest lineage that is recorded on a particular family. Which is the way it should be done on a true ancestorial search.

But what you folkes are failing to recognize is the notorious outlaws were hiding from the law and merely using other peoples names. People that had already lived life and died. Their names were not used until after the real person had already died.

You are looking at the whole family file and asking questions. When you should be zeroing into Nancy Angeline Logan; Benjamin T. Wood; and Francis Marion James, Sr. & Jr. Who or, should I say, whom are they really? This is where the outlaws were added to this file. Some of the same people that were in St. Joe, MO & OK and had different names there.
