As I recall Judy, Joe Jesse Chase was about fourmonths old on July 4th,1870 when the James brothers peaceful Interlude ended according to Joe Chase.This is from the Article "Omaha World Herald"Nov.6,1938.Trouble was brewing at the Trading Post and a man Jacneque was killed. This is the story dropped down from Joe Jesse Chase. Seems it would be a real problem moving out with a baby into the Wilderness with men after them for murder. What about baby food?
