The Jeremiah Meeks is why I thought my Mary O. Whatley was a meeks, She named her son Jeremiah. This is my line.
All I have about the feud is what`s in C.L. Boyd`s book.
Your Rhoda may have been the one who m. Jeremiah Standridge.s/o John Wesley Standridge and Mary Whatley in Falls Co. Tx.
My ancestor is Jeremiah`s first wife, Nancy Cagle.
No, I don`t have Howard`s death cer., family legend is, he drankand made a lot of moonshine whiskey, some think he was murdered, some think he was only drunk and froze to death.I can show you the exact spot where he died.
I can`t recall the exact details of the family feud, It must have been fair and deserved, as the sister of the ones killed was the wife of the killer, and she stayed with him.

A lot of these sites was what I wanted to show you.,Lou
