Re: Josiah Cooke's connection to Francis
so maybe i'm being stupid, but if francis wasn't the father of josias, shouldn't we be able to find his actual parents, whether here or in england?
and if we can't, doesn't that help support the theory that he may have been the son of francis?
it sounds to me like the evidence leans towards him not being his son - so when did he come over? on what ship? is there no record? what about his parents? if mysterioulsy, there are no records at all of where josias came from, then it begins to suggest perhaps we're missing something regarding his being related. what were his children named? are they names that point to a francis heritage?
