I am recognized by the Mayflower Society as a descendant of three persons on that ship as well as currently working with a Wikipedia editor to create/improve the Wikipedia pages of many of those who signed the Mayflower Compact.
Among a number of Mayflower-related books in my possession, I have the following three books which list Mayflower passengers in detail:
- The English Ancestry and Homes of the Pilgrim Fathers by Charles Edward Banks - The Mayflower and Her Passengers by Caleb H. Johnson - Plymouth Colony Its History & People 1620-1691 by Eugene A. Stratton
Additionally, the Banks book also lists those who were on the 'Fortune' in 1621 and the 'Anne' and the 'Little James' in 1623.
Sorry to say, I cannot find listed in any of those books the name Dayton or any name that might be close to that in spelling.
