John Alden/Richard Warren

I descend from both of the above Mayflower passengers.

My problem is that I would like to get into the Mayflower society but I have a problem in my Ross line, which descends from the Otises from the Warrens.

I had an ancestor named Perrin Ross, who was killed at the Wyoming Valley Massacre in 1778 (Wilkes-Barre, PA).He was married to Mercy/Marcy Otis.

I am having problems finding any birth record for their son, John Ross, who was born in 1776 and died in 1855.I have his marriage record, and a cemetery record telling me where he is buried but nothing about his birth which proves who his parents were.
