HAS ANYONE HEARD OF THE NAME VIGUERS

By Linda Swanger November 29, 2003 at 05:43:06

According to an article in the Encylopedia of Pennsylvania Biography, the author, referring to Anna Maria Viguers, daughter of Captain Issac Lort Viguers, says that "the family can trace their ancestry on American soil to the "Mayflower",John Chipman having married a daughter of John Howland of "Mayflower" fame."
I have looked at the Chipman and Howland family trees at the LDS website and have been unable to make any connection to my family. Viguers is a really unusual name if anyone has come across it can you let me know. Thanks in advance.
