Interesting that I cannot find any information in the 1920 census. ( I did get online with the library, but they do not have 1930, so could not look at exact record,,*pout*.)

anyway. I did find a john gorsuch age 30 in the 1920 census at Ohio penitentiary.... hmm age fits, & a couple of background points ( his grandparents from poland) but the other 2 of his place of birth & mothers place of birth don't match.
plus, since my Uncle was 3 in 1920 (John) you would think they should show up somewhere, & wife Helen of course. I also checked the Ellis Island records and cannot find them.

egads! any other suggestions?
