Re: John L. McDonald

Found this submission on Familysearch.org (the LDS site).Since the dob & dod is a match for the John L. McDonald cemetery record I sent, looks like the same guy. The person who did submission (no name listed) must have descended from their daughter Gracie, as she is the only child listed for them on this submission.
John Lafayette McDonald
bn 09 Mar 1861 in Randolph Co, MO
died 25 Feb 1921 (they have no location listed)
s/o George W. McDonald & N.C.
Gracie Gertrude McDonald
d/o John Lafayette McDonald and Georgia Ann Burton
Gracie md 01 sept 1906 Macon Co, MO Robert Melvin McKane
Seems George W. McDonald was married several times. 1860 has one wife & 1870 his wife is listed only as N.C. and then in 1880 there is another wife. Since no source or submitter is listed for this info; I would question the marriage location of Macon Co, MO for Gracie...But all their other info is a match for the census & cemetery records already sent to you. EXCEPT they have Gracie Gertrude McDonald bn 28 Oct 1883 .1900,1910,1920,1930 census for her lists dob as
1889. It is probably an imput error, it is her husband Robert McKane that was born in 1883 per 1920 & 1930 census.
Robert M. McKane & Gracie g. (20) are on the 1910 MO, Chartion Co, Bee Branch census, just as John L. & Georgia McDonald are. 1920 & 1930 census finds Robert & Gracie G. McKane in Jasper Co, MO.
Hope this helps
