Hello everyone I HAVE to share my success story in hopes that I might encourage anyone who may be searching for someone. I have been looking for my brother Michael for 12+ years. I have known about him for as long as I can remember. I only knew his name and his mothers name. Due to our father passing away when I was only 13 I only had limited info when he passed, all searches lead to a dead end. Today marks 1 month that I finally located my brother, it was a month ago I typed in google search bar his name and his mothers name in a way I must have never before because the 3rd result brought me here to geneology where 2 years ago my brother made a post looking for his family, his mothers side. Although I knew about him he never knew about me. His mother had told him a bogus story (that's off the subject). I found his uncle first and found out he had been looking for my brother as well. He wasn't interest in finding his sister. His sister had took off from all her family a very long time ago. My brother was shocked and was very suprised to find he has 2 sisters, 2 nephews, and 4 nieces among many other family on his fathers side. Oh and he has an uncle , 2 aunts, and several cousins on his mothers side. We communicate via text daily and skype often. We live a world apart he lives in Washington state and I live in West Virginia. I am trying so hard to not let the distance be a hindrance but, I really want to just embrace my brother and cry, let it all out. I love him and his daughter so much already its indescribable. I ask one thing and that's prayers that we would be able to meet really really soon and some day life makes it possible to relocate to be closer to one another. Thank You Geneology for the part you played in my success story!!!!
