No, I am not interested in having foot notes at all. But what I am saying is that I have found no way to export the Journal directly to Word and get end notes (like I am sure I used to)although I can get foot notes into Word. But if I export my Journal (using "Custom" in the Family Journal dialog box and selecting the "End Notes" option and "Normal" in the footnotes option then I can create endnotes with no footnotes in the UFT Editor; however, there is no way I can transfer this Journal into Word so Word will open it---instead I get the messsage "The document name or path is not valid, etc."
Also, I can select the "Mod Register" option in the Family Journal Dialog box, and "Normal" under foot notes option and send the report to the UFY Editor. Then, when I am in this Editor I can create end notes. Now, HOWEVER, when I save this document to Word it WILL have both footnotes and endnotes but it is a document that Word will open.
So, I have found a way to have a Word document with:
a.No foot notes or end notes b.Foot Notes only c.Foot Notes and End Notes
But I can't make a Word document that I can open with end notes only (and at one time I could)
What I want is a Word document with end notes. But if I can't open it, it isn't any use to me.
