Importance of Selective Service cards

How important are the "Notice of Classification" cards
issued by the Selective Service System?The cards I have
are SSS Form No. 110 (Revised 12-17-54)/(Revised 8-20-58).
The cards contain the person's name, his selective
service number, and his classification.It's also
dated and signed by a member of the local board.
