Co I, 141st Infantry-Cleveland, OH
My Grandfather served in WW1. His military records show he served (1) Co M, 348th Infantry to June 1918, (2) Co H, 23rd Infantry to Feb 1919 & lastly (3) Co I, 141st Infantry Meuse/Argonne to close of War. He enlisted in Cleveland, OH. I haven't been able to find any info on these different divisions. Could someone help & explain why all the different changes & also if there is any place to write for photos. I remember as a child seeing a portrait of him in his uniform (now long gone). Thanks.
