Royal Scots Fusiliers WWII
I am trying to locate any information regarding my grandfather, John Arthur Herridge. I have a photo of him in his army gear and have been told that he is wearing a Glengarry hat with a diced band, and had worn Tartan trousers (Trews). Also, that the stripes on his arm indicate him as a Corporal, and although the angle makes it hard to determine it is understood the cap badge is that for the Royal Scots Fusiliers. I have no idea what batallion or when he served, but he was born 31st March 1917. Is anyone able to help me or point me in the right direction? I'm stuck!!!
