Thank you very much for this information. It is more than we have ever had on my brother. All that my mother ever received was not any papers at all. It was a very small card and a purple heart. We would like to know where Raymond is buried and if there might be some other information about his military history that we might be able to have access to. I am the last person left in our family and I would love to find out all about my brother that I can. He was living in California and working there with my sister when he went into the war. Thank you again and the information you have found is very very much appreciated. The information that we were given was that he was killed in April but this is our same guy. Do you know a website where we could find out what was happening in the Phillipines on May 6, 1942? The card from the Red Cross said that he lived two days so that doesn't sound like he would be missing in action. That was always curious and no body was ever sent home to us. I have always wondered where he could be buried.
