Thank you for the additional info.
Our man served overseas [111th Enginering Combat Btn] in the campaign of Naples-Foggia, Southern France, Rome-Arno and the Rineland = was wounded Dec. 1944.
He received (according to his obit) the Bronze Service Arrowhead; the EAME Service Medal; The American Defense Medal; Bronze Star; Purple Heart.
We are going to _try_ to get his service records so that we can *track* his life (we hope!)
