Frederick Arthur Turner WW2

I am requesting any record of my grandfather for which I am trying to establish military service and benefits for his service during WWII.His records were destroyed in the 1973 St Louis fire and he has lost his DD-214 and Purple hearts.
His information is as follows:
Frederick Arthur Turner
04/03/1919
Denver, Colorado

He entered the Army on January 5, 1942 in Denver, CO.He was a member of HQ Battery, 9th Field Artillery, 3rd Division and served in Africa and Europe.His service number was 38083040.He was discharged in late 1945 at Ft. Sill, OK.
