956 bombardier group ww2 uaaaf
I am searching for information about the 956 bombardier group. My father Dominic “Lefty" Selletti was a bombardier in the usaaf in ww2. When my father died, my mother who had Alzheimer's disease, lost or disposed of much of his things. I remember that he was on a b-29 plane called "Lady Ann" I have his jacket with the name and art on the back. He spoke of being stationed in the states and flying on the east coast and in the Gulf of Mexico. He was on his way to the west coast on a train when Japan surrendered. Any information anyone could provide would be appreciated.
